Liverpool weddings: docks, domes and the Georgian Quarter
Few British cities have a waterfront quite like Liverpool’s. The Royal Liver Building, the Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building – the Three Graces – look out over the Mersey, while the old docks to the north and south have been turned into hotels, bars and event spaces. A short walk uphill, the Georgian Quarter’s elegant terraces sit between the city’s two cathedrals, with Hope Street linking them.
Then there are the parks. Sefton Park, to the south of the centre, is one of the great Victorian city parks, and its restored Palm House is a wedding setting unlike anything else in the North West. Further afield, the Sefton coast stretches up to Southport, and across the river the Wirral offers country house venues within easy reach of the city.

- Titanic Hotel Liverpool – a dockside warehouse hotel at Stanley Dock with a replica Titanic grand staircase. Brick, iron and high ceilings make a dramatic backdrop for black & white portraits.
- Oh Me Oh My – a 1920s former Bank of West Africa facing the Three Graces, with a roof garden. Its vintage character and our oak Vintage Booth make a lovely pairing.
- Hope Street Hotel – a boutique hotel in an 1860 Venetian palazzo-style building with a rooftop bar, right in the Georgian Quarter.
- Sefton Park Palm House – a Victorian glasshouse opened in 1896 and restored after Blitz damage. Exotic plants, ironwork and evening light through the glass make it a truly special place for a celebration.
- Royal Birkdale Golf Club, Southport – a championship links with a 1935 art deco clubhouse, host of eleven Opens. That art deco style is a natural fit for the Glam Booth.
- Thornton Hall Hotel, Thornton Hough – across the Mersey on the Wirral, a mid-1800s Victorian hall with a panelled Oak Room and an ornate ceiling.

Wedding DJ and photo booth in Liverpool
Liverpool knows a thing or two about music, so the dance floor matters. Our sister company EventsDJ provides wedding DJs, and booking both as our Wedding DJ & Photo Booth package saves you money. Good to know when planning
Waterfront and city centre venues often have dedicated supplier access, loading areas or specific arrival times, so pass on any venue information as early as you can. At glasshouse and garden venues, it’s worth asking the venue where the evening party will be set up. If your reception is on a roof terrace or in a garden, tell us early so we can discuss the best indoor position for the booth.
Couples typically book 12–24 months ahead, particularly for summer weekends. A booking fee holds your date, and the balance is due 14 days before.
Parties, proms and corporate nights
We also work at birthdays, proms, Christmas parties and corporate events across Liverpool and Merseyside. Personalised prints carry your company name or event branding, and EventsDJ’s party and Christmas DJ packages start at £450.

We met Sally and Wayne at a wedding fair and hiring them was the best decision ever ( despite already having a DJ provided within our wedding package at Aldwark Manor) we knew it would be an extra cost but we were willing to do this as we wanted Wayne as our DJ , and he was worth every penny, he made our wedding exactly what we wanted he listened to our preferences and tailored the music to our taste. The guests absolutely loved him. He also helped organise the dance floor which I wanted and provided letters. Sally on the photobooth was equally amazing, guests had such a laugh and kept Sally busy. Definitely a must have at any party. The added bonus of us receiving a copy of every photo taken that night and placed in a box was simply brilliant myself and my husband were able to look through these at our leisure and have a good giggle. So a massive thank you to both Sally & Wayne and if your looking for a top class DJ and photo booth look no further we highly recommend these guys they are the best.

We booked Selfie Star Photo Booth for our wedding and honestly it was one of the best investments we made. We went for the Kardashian filter to match our monochrome wedding theme and it looked incredible — the photos came out so stylish and elevated. Our guests absolutely loved it and were using it all night. The fact guests could have unlimited prints was amazing, and every print strip was personalised with our Mr & Mrs name and wedding date, with 3 photos on each print which looked so professional. Sally also shared a download link afterwards with all of the images, which was such a lovely touch. One of our favourite parts was coming home with a beautiful gift box containing copies of all the prints for us to add into our guest book and keep forever. Sally was fantastic throughout and everything ran so smoothly. We couldn’t recommend Selfie Star enough!

selfie star made our wedding!! run by two of the nicest people we have ever met, Wayne and sal went above and beyond for us to make our special day run as smoothly as possible. They even took all the stress away before hand and communicated with the hotel about arranging the room and making sure everything we had hired from them would fit, they contacted the tribute band we had coming to the wedding and made their set up easier by connect up to selfie stars equipment which made our turn around from the day in to the evening party much quicker! The dancefloor, star light back drop and light up shoots completely transformed our room, it looked amazing!! we also had the dancing with clouds and cold spark fire work for our first dance which was also looked amazing! selfie star also hosted our full day and was our DJ Which I believe made the day run so well. They made us feel very special and organised all the special parts of the day to make sure they went as well as they possibly could and really made the special moments count! THe music was brilliant they played a mixture of songs we asked for and then a mixture of songs from 80s 90s and now which was great the dancefloor was full of people all night! highly recommended this company they are fantastic, we also had the table selfie centerpiece aswell which we and all our guests had lots of fun with and captured loads of memories! Absolutely amazing DJ and photobooth service for our wedding! Communication beforehand was excellent and they made everything so easy and stress-free from start to finish. They arrived punctually, were incredibly professional, and did everything we asked for with no problem at all. The DJ kept the dancefloor full all night and was also a fantastic MC, helping the whole evening run smoothly and keeping the atmosphere lively and fun.
