About The Peppered Pig & Pig Inn
The Peppered Pig sits on Snaith Road at East Cowick, in the countryside between Snaith and Goole in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is a small, family-run inn and events venue with a restaurant, a bar and bedrooms on site, so many couples and their closest guests can stay over rather than heading home at midnight.
The venue offers several distinct spaces rather than one large function room:
- The Oak Room – a brick-and-oak room with views out over the surrounding countryside, well suited to ceremonies.
- The Bridge Room – a characterful dining room with its own private bar, looking over the back garden.
- The Yurt – an open, relaxed space with its own bar that opens onto the terrace and garden, a natural home for the evening celebration.
Landscaped gardens, outdoor ceremony and reception options and an in-house kitchen complete the picture. It feels rural and personal rather than corporate.

Vintage Booth
Our vintage photo booth hire is the most natural match for the Oak Room or the Yurt. The booth is hand-crafted from solid oak, it is open-sided so groups can pile in, and you choose a backdrop to suit your colours. Against exposed brick and timber it looks as though it belongs there. Vintage Booth packages start from £625.
Glam Booth
If you would rather your photos looked like a magazine shoot than a country fair, the Kardashian-style photo booth produces black and white portraits on a clean white backdrop, lit with flattering beauty lighting. It is a striking contrast to a rustic room and is especially popular with couples who want something timeless in their album. The Glam Booth starts from £650, and Vintage Booth clients can upgrade to it for £25.
AI Photo Booth
For a crowd that likes a bit of fun, our AI Photo Booth turns each shot into something new: AI backgrounds, artistic styles, avatars and face swap, with instant prints. It works well in the Yurt once the dancing has started.
Our self-service Party Pod and Digital Pod can also be booked here when they come alongside an EventsDJ wedding DJ.

Wedding DJ and photo booth at the Peppered Pig
Much of the Peppered Pig wedding entertainment happens in one evening space, so it makes sense for your music and your booth to work together. Our sister company EventsDJ provides wedding DJs, and booking both together as our Wedding DJ & Photo Booth package saves you money compared with booking separately. The Evening DJ package runs for 5 hours, and cold spark fountains for the first dance or a sax player alongside the DJ can be added. You also get one point of contact for timings, and the DJ and booth attendant can coordinate so the booth is busy during the dancing rather than competing with it.

Planning tips for a photo booth at the Peppered Pig
- Agree the spot early. Speak to the events team about where the booth will stand in your evening room. With a yurt that opens onto a terrace, a position near the bar or the doors usually keeps it in view without blocking a route through.
- Time it around the evening guests. Most couples open the booth as the evening reception starts, which gives day and evening guests a reason to mix.
- Think about the light. If you are having a summer wedding with long evenings, mention it when you book so we can plan the booth’s position around changing daylight.
- Plan your print design. Send us your names, date and colours and we will design a print layout that matches your stationery.
- Book well ahead. Couples usually book 12–24 months in advance. A booking fee secures your date, and the balance is due 14 days before the wedding.

Can the booth go in the Yurt?
That is a decision for you and the venue. We are happy to set up wherever the events team agrees works best on the day; we just need a level floor space and a power socket nearby.
Do guests get to keep their photos?
Yes. Every staffed booth includes unlimited photo capture, with prints every time, so each guest in the shot can take one home. You also receive a gift box with a full set and access to an online gallery.
Can we have the booth for longer than three hours?
Of course. Three hours is standard, and extra time is £150 per hour.
How do we secure our date?
Get a quote, then pay a booking fee to hold the date. The balance is due 14 days before the wedding.

We met Wayne & Sally at a wedding fayre. They were both really lovely and approachable, discussing all of their options & packages. Their communication was excellent & their app is easy to use for updates, info on your package and payments. Having used photobooths before, I can say the tech from Selfie Star was the best quality we’ve seen! We had the ICON! Wayne on the night of our wedding was brilliant, super friendly & arrived in plenty of time for the start of the evening celebrations! selfie star made our wedding!! run by two of the nicest people we have ever met, Wayne and sal went above and beyond for us to make our special day run as smoothly as possible. They even took all the stress away before hand and communicated with the hotel about arranging the room and making sure everything we had hired from them would fit, they contacted the tribute band we had coming to the wedding and made their set up easier by connect up to selfie stars equipment which made our turn around from the day in to the evening party much quicker! The dancefloor, star light back drop and light up shoots completely transformed our room, it looked amazing!! we also had the dancing with clouds and cold spark fire work for our first dance which was also looked amazing! selfie star also hosted our full day and was our DJ Which I believe made the day run so well. They made us feel very special and organised all the special parts of the day to make sure they went as well as they possibly could and really made the special moments count! We booked Selfie Star Photobooths after seeing the photobooth in action at a wedding fayre. Booking with them was seamless and everything was so easy to access on the portal. On the day, set up was done with no issues whatsoever and our guests were free to enjoy the fun this brought to our evening. All of our guests commented on how fantastic the photobooth was and how well it was operated. It brought so much fun and energy to the evening and was loved by everyone. Absolutely amazing! The best Photo Booth I’ve ever hired and the lady who brought it was such a lovely lady, my daughter even got her up for a selfie on the booth! 10/10 will absolutely book again at any given opportunity.
We booked Selfie Star Photo Booth for our wedding and honestly it was one of the best investments we made. We went for the Kardashian filter to match our monochrome wedding theme and it looked incredible — the photos came out so stylish and elevated. Our guests absolutely loved it and were using it all night. The fact guests could have unlimited prints was amazing, and every print strip was personalised with our Mr & Mrs name and wedding date, with 3 photos on each print which looked so professional. Sally also shared a download link afterwards with all of the images, which was such a lovely touch. One of our favourite parts was coming home with a beautiful gift box containing copies of all the prints for us to add into our guest book and keep forever. Sally was fantastic throughout and everything ran so smoothly. We couldn’t recommend Selfie Star enough!

We hired Selfie Star for the evening of our wedding. It was fantastic, all of our guests enjoyed it very much!
We met Sally and Wayne at a wedding fair and hiring them was the best decision ever ( despite already having a DJ provided within our wedding package at Aldwark Manor) we knew it would be an extra cost but we were willing to do this as we wanted Wayne as our DJ , and he was worth every penny, he made our wedding exactly what we wanted he listened to our preferences and tailored the music to our taste. The guests absolutely loved him. He also helped organise the dance floor which I wanted and provided letters. Sally on the photobooth was equally amazing, guests had such a laugh and kept Sally busy. Definitely a must have at any party. The added bonus of us receiving a copy of every photo taken that night and placed in a box was simply brilliant myself and my husband were able to look through these at our leisure and have a good giggle.
