About The Out Barn
It’s an original 17th-century stone hay barn paired with a modern oval ceremony room clad in oak grown on the farm, whose glass bi-fold doors look out across farmland to Pendle Hill. The family behind it are committed to sustainability and conservation, and have planted trees, hedgerows and wildflowers across the estate, which sits in a protected landscape in the Ribble Valley.
The two rooms work independently. The old barn is the quieter retreat, with home-grown oak beams, oak floors and pine tables, while the oval ceremony room is full of natural daylight. Outside, there’s a terrace with Pendle Hill views and an in-house bar, and couples can also marry outdoors, either beside the river at the Fairy Bridge or in the open air at Pendle View.
For guests who want to stay, the estate has a 17th-century farmhouse with twin wood-burners and walled gardens, the Coach House Cottage, the Dairy Cottage honeymoon suite and a set of luxury lodges. Exclusive use is available, including an Estate Takeover package that runs across a whole weekend. Couples choose their wedding breakfast and evening food from approved caterers, and confetti is permitted.

The character of The Out Barn suits our Vintage Booth beautifully: it’s hand-crafted from solid oak, with a choice of backdrops to match your styling. Oak alongside oak beams looks wonderful in photos, and the open design means big groups can join in. Vintage photo booth hire starts from £625.
For timeless black and white portraits, our Glam Booth is the one couples love. Our Kardashian-style photo booth uses a white backdrop and flattering beauty lighting, creating crisp portraits that contrast beautifully with the rustic setting. It starts from £650, and Vintage Booth or DJ & Photo Booth package clients can upgrade for £25.
For something completely different, our AI Photo Booth lets guests experiment with AI backgrounds, artistic styles, avatars and face swap, with instant prints.
Our self-service Party Pod is available at The Out Barn when booked with our DJ.

Planning tips for a photo booth at The Out Barn
Decide which room hosts the party. With two independent rooms, ask your wedding co-ordinator where your evening will be centred and where the booth can sit.
Use Pendle Hill in daylight. The terrace, Fairy Bridge and Pendle View are perfect for your photographer before sunset, so save the booth for the evening.
Booking an Estate Takeover? If your celebrations run over a weekend, let us know which evening you’d like the booth.
Coordinate with your caterer. Share your timeline with your chosen caterer and DJ so food, speeches and the booth all fit together.
Match your print. Send us your colours or stationery and we’ll design a print that suits the barn.

We booked Selfie Star Photo Booth for our wedding and honestly it was one of the best investments we made. We went for the Kardashian filter to match our monochrome wedding theme and it looked incredible — the photos came out so stylish and elevated. Our guests absolutely loved it and were using it all night. The fact guests could have unlimited prints was amazing, and every print strip was personalised with our Mr & Mrs name and wedding date, with 3 photos on each print which looked so professional. Sally also shared a download link afterwards with all of the images, which was such a lovely touch. One of our favourite parts was coming home with a beautiful gift box containing copies of all the prints for us to add into our guest book and keep forever. Sally was fantastic throughout and everything ran so smoothly. We couldn’t recommend Selfie Star enough!
We met Sally and Wayne at a wedding fair and hiring them was the best decision ever ( despite already having a DJ provided within our wedding package at Aldwark Manor) we knew it would be an extra cost but we were willing to do this as we wanted Wayne as our DJ , and he was worth every penny, he made our wedding exactly what we wanted he listened to our preferences and tailored the music to our taste. The guests absolutely loved him. He also helped organise the dance floor which I wanted and provided letters. Sally on the photobooth was equally amazing, guests had such a laugh and kept Sally busy. Definitely a must have at any party. The added bonus of us receiving a copy of every photo taken that night and placed in a box was simply brilliant myself and my husband were able to look through these at our leisure and have a good giggle. Absolutely amazing DJ and photobooth service for our wedding! Communication beforehand was excellent and they made everything so easy and stress-free from start to finish. They arrived punctually, were incredibly professional, and did everything we asked for with no problem at all. The DJ kept the dancefloor full all night and was also a fantastic MC, helping the whole evening run smoothly and keeping the atmosphere lively and fun. The photobooth was such a hit with all our wedding guests too! Their communication was excellent & their app is easy to use for updates, info on your package and payments. Having used photobooths before, I can say the tech from Selfie Star was the best quality we’ve seen! We had the ICON! Wayne on the night of our wedding was brilliant, super friendly & arrived in plenty of time for the start of the evening celebrations! He had a great attitude with all of our guests, creating a fab atmosphere and we all certainly had fun! We also added late to our booking an audio guestbook, which was no trouble and brilliant to use! Listening back to the messages has been a real highlight. selfie star made our wedding!! run by two of the nicest people we have ever met, Wayne and sal went above and beyond for us to make our special day run as smoothly as possible. They even took all the stress away before hand and communicated with the hotel about arranging the room and making sure everything we had hired from them would fit, they contacted the tribute band we had coming to the wedding and made their set up easier by connect up to selfie stars equipment which made our turn around from the day in to the evening party much quicker! The dancefloor, star light back drop and light up shoots completely transformed our room, it looked amazing!! we also had the dancing with clouds and cold spark fire work for our first dance which was also looked amazing! selfie star also hosted our full day and was our DJ Which I believe made the day run so well. They made us feel very special and organised all the special parts of the day to make sure they went as well as they possibly could and really made the special moments count! THe music was brilliant they played a mixture of songs we asked for and then a mixture of songs from 80s 90s and now which was great the dancefloor was full of people all night! highly recommended this company they are fantastic, we also had the table selfie centerpiece aswell which we and all our guests had lots of fun with and captured loads of memories!
