About Merrydale Manor
Merrydale Manor is a family-owned estate on Chelford Lane in Over Peover, in the Cheshire countryside between Knutsford and Macclesfield. A long driveway leads through gardens and parkland to the manor house, with a peaceful lake and jetty in front of the house. The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies, and couples can marry on the jetty, in the gardens or in the ceremony room.
Receptions take place in the purpose-built Merrydale Suite, which overlooks the lake and has its own bar and dance floor. The estate offers exclusive use, and there’s plenty of accommodation for guests: bedrooms in the manor house, courtyard rooms including a bridal suite with a beauty room, and woodland eco-pods in the grounds. That means many guests can stay right on site, which keeps the party going well into the evening. With the lake, gardens and parkland all close to the Merrydale Suite, it’s easy for guests to drift between the celebrations indoors and the views outside.

- Glam Booth. Our Glam Booth is a Kardashian-style photo booth with a white backdrop and flattering beauty lighting. The dramatic black and white portraits suit a stylish wedding, and it starts from £650.
- Vintage Booth. Couples who prefer a classic look choose our Vintage Booth, hand-crafted from solid oak with a choice of backdrops. It’s open and staffed, so guests gather round and join in. From £625, and Vintage or DJ & Photo Booth package clients can upgrade to the Glam Booth for £25.
- AI Photo Booth. Our staffed AI Photo Booth offers AI backgrounds, artistic styles, avatars and face swap, with instant prints.
Our self-service Party Pod and Digital Pod are available at Merrydale Manor when booked with our DJ.

Absolutely amazing DJ and photobooth service for our wedding! Communication beforehand was excellent and they made everything so easy and stress-free from start to finish. They arrived punctually, were incredibly professional, and did everything we asked for with no problem at all. We met Wayne & Sally at a wedding fayre. They were both really lovely and approachable, discussing all of their options & packages. Wayne on the night of our wedding was brilliant, super friendly & arrived in plenty of time for the start of the evening celebrations! We also added late to our booking an audio guestbook, which was no trouble and brilliant to use! Listening back to the messages has been a real highlight. we loved our photo booth for our wedding last month. Not only did we hire that from Selfie Star, we hired the DJ, venue uplighting and sparkler fountains. We met Sally and Wayne at a wedding fair and hiring them was the best decision ever ( despite already having a DJ provided within our wedding package at Aldwark Manor) we knew it would be an extra cost but we were willing to do this as we wanted Wayne as our DJ , and he was worth every penny, he made our wedding exactly what we wanted he listened to our preferences and tailored the music to our taste. The guests absolutely loved him. He also helped organise the dance floor which I wanted and provided letters. Sally on the photobooth was equally amazing, guests had such a laugh and kept Sally busy. Definitely a must have at any party. The added bonus of us receiving a copy of every photo taken that night and placed in a box was simply brilliant myself and my husband were able to look through these at our leisure and have a good giggle. selfie star made our wedding!! run by two of the nicest people we have ever met, Wayne and sal went above and beyond for us to make our special day run as smoothly as possible. They even took all the stress away before hand and communicated with the hotel about arranging the room and making sure everything we had hired from them would fit, they contacted the tribute band we had coming to the wedding and made their set up easier by connect up to selfie stars equipment which made our turn around from the day in to the evening party much quicker! The dancefloor, star light back drop and light up shoots completely transformed our room, it looked amazing!! we also had the dancing with clouds and cold spark fire work for our first dance which was also looked amazing! selfie star also hosted our full day and was our DJ Which I believe made the day run so well. They made us feel very special and organised all the special parts of the day to make sure they went as well as they possibly could and really made the special moments count! THe music was brilliant they played a mixture of songs we asked for and then a mixture of songs from 80s 90s and now which was great the dancefloor was full of people all night! highly recommended this company they are fantastic, we also had the table selfie centerpiece aswell which we and all our guests had lots of fun with and captured loads of memories! We booked Selfie Star Photo Booth for our wedding and honestly it was one of the best investments we made. We went for the Kardashian filter to match our monochrome wedding theme and it looked incredible — the photos came out so stylish and elevated. Our guests absolutely loved it and were using it all night. The fact guests could have unlimited prints was amazing, and every print strip was personalised with our Mr & Mrs name and wedding date, with 3 photos on each print which looked so professional. Sally also shared a download link afterwards with all of the images, which was such a lovely touch. One of our favourite parts was coming home with a beautiful gift box containing copies of all the prints for us to add into our guest book and keep forever. Sally was fantastic throughout and everything ran so smoothly. We couldn’t recommend Selfie Star enough!

We booked Selfie Star Photobooths after seeing the photobooth in action at a wedding fayre. Booking with them was seamless and everything was so easy to access on the portal. On the day, set up was done with no issues whatsoever and our guests were free to enjoy the fun this brought to our evening. All of our guests commented on how fantastic the photobooth was and how well it was operated. It brought so much fun and energy to the evening and was loved by everyone.
