About The Huntsman Inn
The Huntsman Inn is a pub, restaurant and wedding venue on Greenfield Road, high on the hillside above Holmfirth near Huddersfield. It looks out over the rolling Pennine hills towards Saddleworth Moor, and the garden is a popular spot for wedding photographs, particularly as the sun goes down.
Weddings here centre on the Harden Hill Suite, a function room that opens onto a garden area and has its own private bar, sound system and private entrance for the wedding party. The inn is licensed for civil ceremonies, so the ceremony and reception can take place in the same place, and there are en-suite bedrooms on site, including a honeymoon suite, so you and some of your guests can stay over.

With countryside views and a characterful inn setting, there are a few ways to go.
- Vintage Booth (from £625): our hand-crafted solid oak open booth with a choice of backdrops. Its natural wood suits a traditional Pennine inn, and it is staffed throughout.
- Glam Booth (from £650): our Kardashian-style photo booth with black and white portraits, a white backdrop and flattering beauty lighting. A great choice if you want polished, classic portraits. Vintage Booth and DJ & Photo Booth package clients can upgrade to it for £25.
- AI Photo Booth: staffed, with AI backgrounds, artistic styles, AI avatars and face swap, plus instant prints. Perfect for a crowd that likes a laugh.
- Party Pod (from £425) and Digital Pod: self-service booths, available here when booked alongside our DJ, that are dropped off during the day and run all day. The Party Pod offers colour and black and white prints with a choice of backdrops, and the Digital Pod sends photos straight to guests’ phones. These are available across our local area around Leeds, and further afield when booked with an EventsDJ DJ, so let us know your date and we will confirm the options for The Huntsman.

- Protect your sunset photos. If you are planning garden photos at golden hour, tell us your timings so the booth opening works around them.
- Open with the evening guests. Many couples start the booth as evening guests arrive, so it runs through the busiest part of the night.
- Personalise your prints. A design inspired by the hills, or simply your names and date, makes every print a keepsake.
- Book early. Couples usually book 12 to 24 months ahead, and a booking fee secures your date.

Absolutely amazing DJ and photobooth service for our wedding! Communication beforehand was excellent and they made everything so easy and stress-free from start to finish. They arrived punctually, were incredibly professional, and did everything we asked for with no problem at all. The DJ kept the dancefloor full all night and was also a fantastic MC, helping the whole evening run smoothly and keeping the atmosphere lively and fun. The photobooth was such a hit with all our wedding guests too! We couldn’t have asked for better entertainment for our special day and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or event.

We booked Selfie Star Photo Booth for our wedding and honestly it was one of the best investments we made. We went for the Kardashian filter to match our monochrome wedding theme and it looked incredible — the photos came out so stylish and elevated. Our guests absolutely loved it and were using it all night. The fact guests could have unlimited prints was amazing, and every print strip was personalised with our Mr & Mrs name and wedding date, with 3 photos on each print which looked so professional. Sally also shared a download link afterwards with all of the images, which was such a lovely touch. One of our favourite parts was coming home with a beautiful gift box containing copies of all the prints for us to add into our guest book and keep forever. Sally was fantastic throughout and everything ran so smoothly. We couldn’t recommend Selfie Star enough!

selfie star made our wedding!! run by two of the nicest people we have ever met, Wayne and sal went above and beyond for us to make our special day run as smoothly as possible. They even took all the stress away before hand and communicated with the hotel about arranging the room and making sure everything we had hired from them would fit, they contacted the tribute band we had coming to the wedding and made their set up easier by connect up to selfie stars equipment which made our turn around from the day in to the evening party much quicker! The dancefloor, star light back drop and light up shoots completely transformed our room, it looked amazing!! we also had the dancing with clouds and cold spark fire work for our first dance which was also looked amazing! selfie star also hosted our full day and was our DJ Which I believe made the day run so well. They made us feel very special and organised all the special parts of the day to make sure they went as well as they possibly could and really made the special moments count! THe music was brilliant they played a mixture of songs we asked for and then a mixture of songs from 80s 90s and now which was great the dancefloor was full of people all night! highly recommended this company they are fantastic, we also had the table selfie centerpiece aswell which we and all our guests had lots of fun with and captured loads of memories! We hired Selfie Star for the evening of our wedding. It was fantastic, all of our guests enjoyed it very much!
We met Sally and Wayne at a wedding fair and hiring them was the best decision ever ( despite already having a DJ provided within our wedding package at Aldwark Manor) we knew it would be an extra cost but we were willing to do this as we wanted Wayne as our DJ , and he was worth every penny, he made our wedding exactly what we wanted he listened to our preferences and tailored the music to our taste. The guests absolutely loved him. He also helped organise the dance floor which I wanted and provided letters. Sally on the photobooth was equally amazing, guests had such a laugh and kept Sally busy. Definitely a must have at any party. The added bonus of us receiving a copy of every photo taken that night and placed in a box was simply brilliant myself and my husband were able to look through these at our leisure and have a good giggle. We booked Selfie Star Photobooths after seeing the photobooth in action at a wedding fayre. Booking with them was seamless and everything was so easy to access on the portal. On the day, set up was done with no issues whatsoever and our guests were free to enjoy the fun this brought to our evening. We met Wayne & Sally at a wedding fayre. They were both really lovely and approachable, discussing all of their options & packages. Their communication was excellent & their app is easy to use for updates, info on your package and payments. Having used photobooths before, I can say the tech from Selfie Star was the best quality we’ve seen! We had the ICON! Wayne on the night of our wedding was brilliant, super friendly & arrived in plenty of time for the start of the evening celebrations! He had a great attitude with all of our guests, creating a fab atmosphere and we all certainly had fun! We also added late to our booking an audio guestbook, which was no trouble and brilliant to use! Listening back to the messages has been a real highlight. The turnaround on the online photo gallery & audio messages was amazingly quick too, coming back in just a few days after our wedding! Would highly recommend to anyone for any function!
