We’re excited to introduce something our couples have been asking for: your own wedding planning portal. From the moment you book, you’ll have one private place, on your phone or laptop, to plan your photo booth, your DJ and the timeline for your whole day. No more digging through email threads or trying to remember what you told us six months ago. It’s all there, whenever you want it.

What is the planning portal?

It’s a personal online space for your booking. When you open it you’ll see a countdown to your wedding, your date, venue and times, and how far along your planning is. Everything else sits in a few simple tabs: your timeline, your music, your questions and a chat with our team. Your contract and booking details are kept in the portal too, so you can find them in seconds.

You can dip in and out as your plans come together. Add something on your lunch break, change your mind at the weekend and come back to it nearer the time. The portal saves as you go, and both of you can add to it, so planning becomes something you do together.

Planning your photo booth in one place

If you’ve booked our Glam Booth, Vintage Booth or Party Pod, your portal walks you through everything we need to know, one step at a time:

• Where the booth goes: tell us the spot in your venue and upload a photo of it, so we know exactly where to set up.
• Timings: your earliest setup time, when your evening guests arrive and when you’d like the booth to open.
• Your print design: the names, date or message you’d like on your print border.
• Colour or black and white: choose your booth mode, and pick your backdrop from our range.
• Your prints: a gift box of prints at the end of the night is included, or add our Guest Book Management service.
• Your online gallery: choose colour, black and white or both for the gallery we send after the wedding.

Every staffed booth still comes with unlimited photo capture, with prints every time, a friendly attendant and setup and clear away. The portal simply makes the planning part easier.

Add our DJ and your evening plans join in

Many couples book their photo booth and DJ together with our sister company EventsDJ, and this is where the portal really shines. Add a DJ to your booking and new sections appear in the same portal, right alongside your photo booth:

• Your first dance song, cake cutting and any special dances
• Your party starter, the first song that gets everyone up
• Your song suggestions, plus song requests from your guests
• Your do-not-play list, so the songs you can’t stand never make it on
• Your last dance, to finish the night exactly how you want

Because the booth and the DJ live in the same place, the timings work together. Your first dance, your booth opening time and your evening food all sit on one timeline, so nothing clashes and everyone works from the same plan.

All-day DJ? Plan your ceremony to your last dance

If you’ve chosen our all-day DJ package, your portal opens up even further, covering the whole day from start to finish. You can choose music for your ceremony, your wedding party entrance, signing the register and your exit song, then plan your drinks reception music, your grand entrance into the wedding breakfast, background music, speeches and food service. It’s your full day, in order, in one place.

Use your timeline for the whole day

The timeline isn’t just for us. It’s built around the shape of a real wedding day, with sections for your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening party, so you can use it to plan the rest of your day too. Add the moments that matter to you, put them in order and add a time to each one. Before long you’ll have a clear running order for your day that’s easy to look back at and easy to share.

Extras appear as you add them

Booked an extra? It gets its own section automatically. Cold spark fountains for your first dance, mood uplighting, LED letters, a live sax player, an LED starlit dance floor, extra photo booth time or Guest Book Management each appear in your portal when you add them, with just the questions we need for that extra. You’ll never be asked about something you haven’t booked.
