I booked totally blind and I think I got very lucky booking with selfie star. Communication, the app planning tools and the phone call 2 weeks before the day was very professionally executed. Wayne (DJ) and Sam (photo booth) were a delight to have around on the night and kept everyone on the dance floor despite a big mixed of ages and nationalities joining our evening party. We went for the Gatsby theme, and Selfie Star provided a relevant backdrop and props which added to the festivity. We had trouble with the venue and local council restricting loading and drop off, but the gentleman setting up and running the photobooth was nothing but professional, and worked hard to get set up on time and not let this affect our night. I cannot recommend Selfie Star Photo Booths highly enough. Wayne was quick to respond to all queries and accommodated any special requests. An excellent variety of high quality props. The camera looked very classy and the screen at the back that showed the slideshow of the photos was a real bonus and encouraged people to use the booth. The option to have the three poses followed by the six 'directed' poses was an excellent added extra which made for some really great shots. The master set of photos, presented to us in a nice white storage box at the end of the night, is also a great touch if you don't go for the album. We met Sally and Wayne at a wedding fair and hiring them was the best decision ever ( despite already having a DJ provided within our wedding package at Aldwark Manor) we knew it would be an extra cost but we were willing to do this as we wanted Wayne as our DJ , and he was worth every penny, he made our wedding exactly what we wanted he listened to our preferences and tailored the music to our taste. The guests absolutely loved him. He also helped organise the dance floor which I wanted and provided letters. Sally on the photobooth was equally amazing, guests had such a laugh and kept Sally busy. Definitely a must have at any party. The added bonus of us receiving a copy of every photo taken that night and placed in a box was simply brilliant myself and my husband were able to look through these at our leisure and have a good giggle. selfie star made our wedding!! run by two of the nicest people we have ever met, Wayne and sal went above and beyond for us to make our special day run as smoothly as possible. They even took all the stress away before hand and communicated with the hotel about arranging the room and making sure everything we had hired from them would fit, they contacted the tribute band we had coming to the wedding and made their set up easier by connect up to selfie stars equipment which made our turn around from the day in to the evening party much quicker! The dancefloor, star light back drop and light up shoots completely transformed our room, it looked amazing!! we also had the dancing with clouds and cold spark fire work for our first dance which was also looked amazing! selfie star also hosted our full day and was our DJ Which I believe made the day run so well. They made us feel very special and organised all the special parts of the day to make sure they went as well as they possibly could and really made the special moments count! THe music was brilliant they played a mixture of songs we asked for and then a mixture of songs from 80s 90s and now which was great the dancefloor was full of people all night! highly recommended this company they are fantastic, we also had the table selfie centerpiece aswell which we and all our guests had lots of fun with and captured loads of memories! We had a Selfie Star photo booth at our wedding in April 2025. We had met the team at a wedding fayre a York racecourse and booked them on the day, which came with a deal which included the audio guestbook also. The process was easy and we used the portal to provide the team with final details. We also had some email communications with them, and they were always very responsive. We had some discussions around the backdrop for the photo booth, but the team were able to use the lovely stone wall in our venue, which added a personal touch. They also agreed to bring our back up option just in case this didnt work on the day The team very kindly agreed to help us with our guestbook, we provided the book and the team stuck in one copy of each photo and asked our guests to sign next to it. They even thoughtfully kept the first page free for when we got ourselves a picture. This guestbook has given us a lovely keepsake. The audio guestbook was also great fun to listen back to! The only comment I would have is that they were a little later arriving than we had expected, the venue team came to tell my mum and I that they had not arrived, but when my mum called a few minuets later they had just pulled up. I expect that this was just a delay or a miss-communication on the arrival time, but it did give us a small moment of panic on the day!

Wayne and Sally provided the entertainment for my son's wedding. They arrived promptly and provided an excellent service for the evening of the reception. Apart from the music and DJ service, we also had a selfie booth which was extremely popular with all the guests and even a session of Karaoke.
