Selfie star have been amazing since we booked them for our wedding on 30th December 2023. Wayne and Sally offer fabulous customer service, and no request was too much. Sally was there on hand all evening with the Photo Booth, which has had many compliments from our wedding guests. Wayne was a fabulous DJ from start to finish. My (now) husband and I create a playlist of request from our guests RSVPs which we sent over to Wayne the week before the wedding, and from beginning to end of our reception the dance floor was full. On the fence? Will the DJ and photobooth be mega cheesy… too loud or tatty in presentation?? … that was my thoughts when searching for a DJ for our wedding. I booked totally blind and I think I got very lucky booking with selfie star. Communication, the app planning tools and the phone call 2 weeks before the day was very professionally executed. Wayne (DJ) and Sam (photo booth) were a delight to have around on the night and kept everyone on the dance floor despite a big mixed of ages and nationalities joining our evening party. Having used photobooths before, I can say the tech from Selfie Star was the best quality we’ve seen! We had the ICON! Wayne on the night of our wedding was brilliant, super friendly & arrived in plenty of time for the start of the evening celebrations! He had a great attitude with all of our guests, creating a fab atmosphere and we all certainly had fun! We also added late to our booking an audio guestbook, which was no trouble and brilliant to use! Listening back to the messages has been a real highlight. We met Sally and Wayne at a wedding fair and hiring them was the best decision ever ( despite already having a DJ provided within our wedding package at Aldwark Manor) we knew it would be an extra cost but we were willing to do this as we wanted Wayne as our DJ , and he was worth every penny, he made our wedding exactly what we wanted he listened to our preferences and tailored the music to our taste. The guests absolutely loved him. He also helped organise the dance floor which I wanted and provided letters. Sally on the photobooth was equally amazing, guests had such a laugh and kept Sally busy. Definitely a must have at any party. The added bonus of us receiving a copy of every photo taken that night and placed in a box was simply brilliant myself and my husband were able to look through these at our leisure and have a good giggle. We went for the Gatsby theme, and Selfie Star provided a relevant backdrop and props which added to the festivity. Wayne and Sally provided the entertainment for my son's wedding. They arrived promptly and provided an excellent service for the evening of the reception. Apart from the music and DJ service, we also had a selfie booth which was extremely popular with all the guests and even a session of Karaoke. I cannot recommend Selfie Star Photo Booths highly enough. Wayne was quick to respond to all queries and accommodated any special requests. An excellent variety of high quality props. The camera looked very classy and the screen at the back that showed the slideshow of the photos was a real bonus and encouraged people to use the booth. The option to have the three poses followed by the six 'directed' poses was an excellent added extra which made for some really great shots. The master set of photos, presented to us in a nice white storage box at the end of the night, is also a great touch if you don't go for the album. Thank you Wayne - you really made our night extra special.
