We had a Selfie Star photo booth at our wedding in April 2025. We had met the team at a wedding fayre a York racecourse and booked them on the day, which came with a deal which included the audio guestbook also. The process was easy and we used the portal to provide the team with final details. We also had some email communications with them, and they were always very responsive. We had some discussions around the backdrop for the photo booth, but the team were able to use the lovely stone wall in our venue, which added a personal touch. They also agreed to bring our back up option just in case this didnt work on the day The team very kindly agreed to help us with our guestbook, we provided the book and the team stuck in one copy of each photo and asked our guests to sign next to it. They even thoughtfully kept the first page free for when we got ourselves a picture. This guestbook has given us a lovely keepsake. The audio guestbook was also great fun to listen back to! The only comment I would have is that they were a little later arriving than we had expected, the venue team came to tell my mum and I that they had not arrived, but when my mum called a few minuets later they had just pulled up. I expect that this was just a delay or a miss-communication on the arrival time, but it did give us a small moment of panic on the day!

From the off the relationship was superb, regular check ins to make sure everything was in order and we were all on the same page which put me at ease and had nothing to worry about. What a day.. we had the full package from ceremony to evening DJ, photobooth’s, love letters, dance floor you name it we had it and we are so happy that we did. I cannot recommend Selfie Star Photo Booths highly enough. Wayne was quick to respond to all queries and accommodated any special requests. An excellent variety of high quality props. The camera looked very classy and the screen at the back that showed the slideshow of the photos was a real bonus and encouraged people to use the booth. The option to have the three poses followed by the six 'directed' poses was an excellent added extra which made for some really great shots. The master set of photos, presented to us in a nice white storage box at the end of the night, is also a great touch if you don't go for the album. We went for the Gatsby theme, and Selfie Star provided a relevant backdrop and props which added to the festivity. We had trouble with the venue and local council restricting loading and drop off, but the gentleman setting up and running the photobooth was nothing but professional, and worked hard to get set up on time and not let this affect our night. On the fence? Will the DJ and photobooth be mega cheesy… too loud or tatty in presentation?? … that was my thoughts when searching for a DJ for our wedding. I booked totally blind and I think I got very lucky booking with selfie star. Communication, the app planning tools and the phone call 2 weeks before the day was very professionally executed. Wayne (DJ) and Sam (photo booth) were a delight to have around on the night and kept everyone on the dance floor despite a big mixed of ages and nationalities joining our evening party. So glad we went with Selfie Star for our Magic Mirror at our wedding. From the start Wayne was so helpful in answering questions and on the day interacted great with ourselves and the guests making it as fun as possible! He had the patience of a saint. Loads of choice for backdrop, offered to change it at any point, box full of all the pictures and presentation was perfect. thanks again mate 👍🏻 would recommend to anyone

We had Wayne and Sally provide the Photobooth and DJ for our wedding reception. Both were exceptional. Wayne's soundtrack for the night was perfectly pitched, taking into account any requested songs, whilst producing an engaging mix to keep the dance floor full at all times. Meanwhile the Photobooth was busy all night. We added the leather guestbook and now have a wonderful keepsake to remind us of our wedding. We cannot recommend them more highly.

Their communication was excellent & their app is easy to use for updates, info on your package and payments. Having used photobooths before, I can say the tech from Selfie Star was the best quality we’ve seen! We had the ICON! Wayne on the night of our wedding was brilliant, super friendly & arrived in plenty of time for the start of the evening celebrations! He had a great attitude with all of our guests, creating a fab atmosphere and we all certainly had fun! We also added late to our booking an audio guestbook, which was no trouble and brilliant to use! Listening back to the messages has been a real highlight. The turnaround on the online photo gallery & audio messages was amazingly quick too, coming back in just a few days after our wedding! Would highly recommend to anyone for any function!
