With a backdrop included you just need to enjoy the night. Share directly to your mobile phone, print out your pictures or both, the choice is yours.

SETUP
We arrive mid-late afternoon and setup your booth and backdrop so it is ready to use.
PERSONALISED
We personalise your print borders to your event so your guests have that all important keepsake.
PRINTS
We load your printer with 400 prints ready to be used across your event. Thats a lot of memories made.
COLLECTION
Working with your venue, we pack up and collect the booth after your event and take it away.
ONLINE GALLERY
We add an online gallery containing everything captured by the booth at your event.

ARE PROPS INCLUDED?

No …. We don’t include props with our drop off booths as they are unstaffed. Don’t want to miss out? You can purchase prop packs online for your day to bring that additional fun to the party. All our booths have different modes to keep your guests entertained without props so either way you are covered.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE PRINT LIMIT IS REACHED?

It is really rare that the prints run out on a standard evening event. 400 prints is more than enough to cover the majority of events. In the unlikely event that you do, don’t panic! The photo booth automatically changes modes to continue capturing memories and becomes a digital only booth. So whilst you wont be able to print, you will be able to share to your mobile and everything will appear in the online gallery after the event.

What Happens If We Need To Move The Photo Booth?

Ideally we will have always agreed its setup location with you and the venue ahead of the event. In the unlikely event it needs to move then we would ask venue staff only move the booth. It will keep running when unplugged but wont print. It will last around 2 hours on battery so you have enough time to move, plug it back in and continue the fun. Any photos taken whilst its unplugged will start to print the moment it’s plugged back in again.

What if something goes wrong?

I’ll be honest, its incredibly rare! If that happens there are full contact details on the photo booth info screen to contact our team. Our team can remotely dial into the photo booth and correct most things. Rest assured full technical support is available if needed. You rarely ever will … you will just get a great photo booth experience.

How Far Will You Travel?

We will cover within 50 miles of our base in Leeds for our drop off party pod experience. Outside of this distance may not be possible and would incur additional charges if it was possible on your date.

Wayne's soundtrack for the night was perfectly pitched, taking into account any requested songs, whilst producing an engaging mix to keep the dance floor full at all times. Sally was there on hand all evening with the Photo Booth, which has had many compliments from our wedding guests. Wayne was a fabulous DJ from start to finish. My (now) husband and I create a playlist of request from our guests RSVPs which we sent over to Wayne the week before the wedding, and from beginning to end of our reception the dance floor was full. They even took all the stress away before hand and communicated with the hotel about arranging the room and making sure everything we had hired from them would fit, they contacted the tribute band we had coming to the wedding and made their set up easier by connect up to selfie stars equipment which made our turn around from the day in to the evening party much quicker! The dancefloor, star light back drop and light up shoots completely transformed our room, it looked amazing!! we also had the dancing with clouds and cold spark fire work for our first dance which was also looked amazing! selfie star also hosted our full day and was our DJ Which I believe made the day run so well. They made us feel very special and organised all the special parts of the day to make sure they went as well as they possibly could and really made the special moments count! THe music was brilliant they played a mixture of songs we asked for and then a mixture of songs from 80s 90s and now which was great the dancefloor was full of people all night! highly recommended this company they are fantastic, we also had the table selfie centerpiece aswell which we and all our guests had lots of fun with and captured loads of memories! We had a Selfie Star photo booth at our wedding in April 2025. We had met the team at a wedding fayre a York racecourse and booked them on the day, which came with a deal which included the audio guestbook also. The process was easy and we used the portal to provide the team with final details. We also had some email communications with them, and they were always very responsive. We had some discussions around the backdrop for the photo booth, but the team were able to use the lovely stone wall in our venue, which added a personal touch. They also agreed to bring our back up option just in case this didnt work on the day The team very kindly agreed to help us with our guestbook, we provided the book and the team stuck in one copy of each photo and asked our guests to sign next to it. They even thoughtfully kept the first page free for when we got ourselves a picture. This guestbook has given us a lovely keepsake. The audio guestbook was also great fun to listen back to! The only comment I would have is that they were a little later arriving than we had expected, the venue team came to tell my mum and I that they had not arrived, but when my mum called a few minuets later they had just pulled up. I expect that this was just a delay or a miss-communication on the arrival time, but it did give us a small moment of panic on the day!

I booked SelfieStar for a corporate Christmas party and they were brilliant. The photos were great, and our team had the best time. We went for the Gatsby theme, and Selfie Star provided a relevant backdrop and props which added to the festivity. We had trouble with the venue and local council restricting loading and drop off, but the gentleman setting up and running the photobooth was nothing but professional, and worked hard to get set up on time and not let this affect our night. Wayne on the night of our wedding was brilliant, super friendly & arrived in plenty of time for the start of the evening celebrations! He had a great attitude with all of our guests, creating a fab atmosphere and we all certainly had fun! We also added late to our booking an audio guestbook, which was no trouble and brilliant to use! Listening back to the messages has been a real highlight. The turnaround on the online photo gallery & audio messages was amazingly quick too, coming back in just a few days after our wedding! Would highly recommend to anyone for any function! Huge thank you! 5*!

we loved our photo booth for our wedding last month. Not only did we hire that from Selfie Star, we hired the DJ, venue uplighting and sparkler fountains. Wayne and Sally was very accommodating for our need after we had to change a few things and move our timeline forward which wasn't too much hassel for them. would 100000% recommend to anyone looking for entertainment for their special event. we also want to wish Wayne and Sally all the best in their business . I recently had a Selfie Star photobooth for my wedding and honestly I am disappointed, I wish I had chosen an alternative supplier. I had asked for the guestbook to be managed and for people to be encouraged to sign, the book had minimal writing in and just single photos spread out over a 30cm x 30cm book so it was a complete waste. I had asked my guests afterwards why they didn’t sign, some said they didn’t know they were supposed to as they weren’t told. I had a bag of items for the photo booth attendant to display on the table for people to use. The sign wasn’t displayed, the selection of coloured pens weren’t out for my guests, along with the cards I wanted putting on the table. I had left post it notes on each of the items to be laid out and these were ignored. I paid for 3 hours, the first photo was taken at 7:16pm and the groom was turned away at 9:37pm to go in the booth. There are no pictures of the bride and groom in the photobooth together. I understand this is partly my fault, but the attendant could have prompted a bridesmaid or myself to grab the groom as the excitement of the night took over. I’m gutted I don’t have any photos of us in there together. Also, I’ve had complaints from my guests saying the attendant wasn’t very polite and also didn’t always give copies of the photos out/wasn't clear that they weren’t all stuck in the book. The backdrop provided was a lovely colour, the machine was pretty and my printouts looked nice. But the overall experience was a disappointment and I wouldn’t use this company again.

Wayne and Sally provided the entertainment for my son's wedding. They arrived promptly and provided an excellent service for the evening of the reception. Apart from the music and DJ service, we also had a selfie booth which was extremely popular with all the guests and even a session of Karaoke. We were very happy with all aspects of the service from Selfie Star and recommend them for similar events.

I booked totally blind and I think I got very lucky booking with selfie star. Communication, the app planning tools and the phone call 2 weeks before the day was very professionally executed. Wayne (DJ) and Sam (photo booth) were a delight to have around on the night and kept everyone on the dance floor despite a big mixed of ages and nationalities joining our evening party. Despite some delays with our food service on the day, meaning Wayne was forced to delay setup by over an hour, he very kindly offered to stay on to make up the time lost, giving our guests plenty of time to enjoy the booth.
