We met Sally and Wayne at a wedding fair and hiring them was the best decision ever ( despite already having a DJ provided within our wedding package at Aldwark Manor) we knew it would be an extra cost but we were willing to do this as we wanted Wayne as our DJ , and he was worth every penny, he made our wedding exactly what we wanted he listened to our preferences and tailored the music to our taste. The guests absolutely loved him. He also helped organise the dance floor which I wanted and provided letters. Sally on the photobooth was equally amazing, guests had such a laugh and kept Sally busy. Definitely a must have at any party. The added bonus of us receiving a copy of every photo taken that night and placed in a box was simply brilliant myself and my husband were able to look through these at our leisure and have a good giggle. I booked totally blind and I think I got very lucky booking with selfie star. Communication, the app planning tools and the phone call 2 weeks before the day was very professionally executed. Wayne (DJ) and Sam (photo booth) were a delight to have around on the night and kept everyone on the dance floor despite a big mixed of ages and nationalities joining our evening party. Fab from start to finish! Fantastic service from Wayne when we used Selfie Star for our wedding this month. Despite some delays with our food service on the day, meaning Wayne was forced to delay setup by over an hour, he very kindly offered to stay on to make up the time lost, giving our guests plenty of time to enjoy the booth. Sally was there on hand all evening with the Photo Booth, which has had many compliments from our wedding guests. Wayne was a fabulous DJ from start to finish. From the off the relationship was superb, regular check ins to make sure everything was in order and we were all on the same page which put me at ease and had nothing to worry about. What a day.. we had the full package from ceremony to evening DJ, photobooth’s, love letters, dance floor you name it we had it and we are so happy that we did. A Fun and Unforgettable Touch to Our Day! The photo booth and audio guest book were such a hit at our wedding — we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Sally was quick and great at communicating via email. Wayne was friendly, professional, and brought such great energy. Everyone loved getting involved and the memories captured are ones we’ll treasure forever. The little box of printouts they created for us was such a thoughtful and personal touch — we were genuinely blown away by it. Flipping through them the next day was such a joy (and gave us so many laughs!). They were so prompt getting the audio guest book to us as well so now we will always have the voices and expressions of our nearest and dearest on our special day. I recently had a Selfie Star photobooth for my wedding and honestly I am disappointed, I wish I had chosen an alternative supplier. I had asked for the guestbook to be managed and for people to be encouraged to sign, the book had minimal writing in and just single photos spread out over a 30cm x 30cm book so it was a complete waste. I had asked my guests afterwards why they didn’t sign, some said they didn’t know they were supposed to as they weren’t told. I had a bag of items for the photo booth attendant to display on the table for people to use. The sign wasn’t displayed, the selection of coloured pens weren’t out for my guests, along with the cards I wanted putting on the table. I had left post it notes on each of the items to be laid out and these were ignored. I paid for 3 hours, the first photo was taken at 7:16pm and the groom was turned away at 9:37pm to go in the booth. There are no pictures of the bride and groom in the photobooth together. I understand this is partly my fault, but the attendant could have prompted a bridesmaid or myself to grab the groom as the excitement of the night took over. I’m gutted I don’t have any photos of us in there together. Also, I’ve had complaints from my guests saying the attendant wasn’t very polite and also didn’t always give copies of the photos out/wasn't clear that they weren’t all stuck in the book. The backdrop provided was a lovely colour, the machine was pretty and my printouts looked nice. But the overall experience was a disappointment and I wouldn’t use this company again.
