On the fence? Will the DJ and photobooth be mega cheesy… too loud or tatty in presentation?? … that was my thoughts when searching for a DJ for our wedding. I booked totally blind and I think I got very lucky booking with selfie star. Communication, the app planning tools and the phone call 2 weeks before the day was very professionally executed. Wayne (DJ) and Sam (photo booth) were a delight to have around on the night and kept everyone on the dance floor despite a big mixed of ages and nationalities joining our evening party. Fab from start to finish! Fantastic service from Wayne when we used Selfie Star for our wedding this month. Despite some delays with our food service on the day, meaning Wayne was forced to delay setup by over an hour, he very kindly offered to stay on to make up the time lost, giving our guests plenty of time to enjoy the booth. Wayne and Sally provided the entertainment for my son's wedding. They arrived promptly and provided an excellent service for the evening of the reception. Apart from the music and DJ service, we also had a selfie booth which was extremely popular with all the guests and even a session of Karaoke. We were very happy with all aspects of the service from Selfie Star and recommend them for similar events.

We had a Selfie Star photo booth at our wedding in April 2025. We had met the team at a wedding fayre a York racecourse and booked them on the day, which came with a deal which included the audio guestbook also. The process was easy and we used the portal to provide the team with final details. We also had some email communications with them, and they were always very responsive. We had some discussions around the backdrop for the photo booth, but the team were able to use the lovely stone wall in our venue, which added a personal touch. They also agreed to bring our back up option just in case this didnt work on the day The team very kindly agreed to help us with our guestbook, we provided the book and the team stuck in one copy of each photo and asked our guests to sign next to it. They even thoughtfully kept the first page free for when we got ourselves a picture. This guestbook has given us a lovely keepsake. The audio guestbook was also great fun to listen back to! The only comment I would have is that they were a little later arriving than we had expected, the venue team came to tell my mum and I that they had not arrived, but when my mum called a few minuets later they had just pulled up. I expect that this was just a delay or a miss-communication on the arrival time, but it did give us a small moment of panic on the day!

Having used photobooths before, I can say the tech from Selfie Star was the best quality we’ve seen! We had the ICON! Wayne on the night of our wedding was brilliant, super friendly & arrived in plenty of time for the start of the evening celebrations! He had a great attitude with all of our guests, creating a fab atmosphere and we all certainly had fun! We also added late to our booking an audio guestbook, which was no trouble and brilliant to use! Listening back to the messages has been a real highlight. The turnaround on the online photo gallery & audio messages was amazingly quick too, coming back in just a few days after our wedding! Would highly recommend to anyone for any function! I could not recommend Selfie Star enough we used them for a kardashian style black & white Photo Booth for mine and my partners engagement party and it went down amazing! Everyone loved the pictures and commented on how different it was to your usual phot booths, their service from start to finish was 10/10. Sally was there on hand all evening with the Photo Booth, which has had many compliments from our wedding guests. Wayne was a fabulous DJ from start to finish. I booked SelfieStar for a corporate Christmas party and they were brilliant. The photos were great, and our team had the best time. We went for the Gatsby theme, and Selfie Star provided a relevant backdrop and props which added to the festivity. We had trouble with the venue and local council restricting loading and drop off, but the gentleman setting up and running the photobooth was nothing but professional, and worked hard to get set up on time and not let this affect our night. He was incredibly polite and also helped to calm my nerves/stress levels when setting up. Thank you so much!
