The company was really helpful and professional, and sent us the digital photos within a few days of the wedding. We also had an audio guestbook and again, this was something I'm really happy to have had. We received the messages a few days after the wedding and sitting with my wife and listening to all the things people had said to us was really moving. Wayne's soundtrack for the night was perfectly pitched, taking into account any requested songs, whilst producing an engaging mix to keep the dance floor full at all times. Wayne on the night of our wedding was brilliant, super friendly & arrived in plenty of time for the start of the evening celebrations! He had a great attitude with all of our guests, creating a fab atmosphere and we all certainly had fun! We also added late to our booking an audio guestbook, which was no trouble and brilliant to use! Listening back to the messages has been a real highlight. The turnaround on the online photo gallery & audio messages was amazingly quick too, coming back in just a few days after our wedding! Would highly recommend to anyone for any function! They even took all the stress away before hand and communicated with the hotel about arranging the room and making sure everything we had hired from them would fit, they contacted the tribute band we had coming to the wedding and made their set up easier by connect up to selfie stars equipment which made our turn around from the day in to the evening party much quicker! The dancefloor, star light back drop and light up shoots completely transformed our room, it looked amazing!! we also had the dancing with clouds and cold spark fire work for our first dance which was also looked amazing! selfie star also hosted our full day and was our DJ Which I believe made the day run so well. They made us feel very special and organised all the special parts of the day to make sure they went as well as they possibly could and really made the special moments count! THe music was brilliant they played a mixture of songs we asked for and then a mixture of songs from 80s 90s and now which was great the dancefloor was full of people all night! highly recommended this company they are fantastic, we also had the table selfie centerpiece aswell which we and all our guests had lots of fun with and captured loads of memories! We had a Selfie Star photo booth at our wedding in April 2025. We had met the team at a wedding fayre a York racecourse and booked them on the day, which came with a deal which included the audio guestbook also. The process was easy and we used the portal to provide the team with final details. We also had some email communications with them, and they were always very responsive. We had some discussions around the backdrop for the photo booth, but the team were able to use the lovely stone wall in our venue, which added a personal touch. They also agreed to bring our back up option just in case this didnt work on the day The team very kindly agreed to help us with our guestbook, we provided the book and the team stuck in one copy of each photo and asked our guests to sign next to it. They even thoughtfully kept the first page free for when we got ourselves a picture. This guestbook has given us a lovely keepsake. The audio guestbook was also great fun to listen back to! The only comment I would have is that they were a little later arriving than we had expected, the venue team came to tell my mum and I that they had not arrived, but when my mum called a few minuets later they had just pulled up. I expect that this was just a delay or a miss-communication on the arrival time, but it did give us a small moment of panic on the day!

Despite some delays with our food service on the day, meaning Wayne was forced to delay setup by over an hour, he very kindly offered to stay on to make up the time lost, giving our guests plenty of time to enjoy the booth. I booked SelfieStar for a corporate Christmas party and they were brilliant. The photos were great, and our team had the best time. We went for the Gatsby theme, and Selfie Star provided a relevant backdrop and props which added to the festivity. We had trouble with the venue and local council restricting loading and drop off, but the gentleman setting up and running the photobooth was nothing but professional, and worked hard to get set up on time and not let this affect our night. I booked totally blind and I think I got very lucky booking with selfie star. Communication, the app planning tools and the phone call 2 weeks before the day was very professionally executed. Wayne (DJ) and Sam (photo booth) were a delight to have around on the night and kept everyone on the dance floor despite a big mixed of ages and nationalities joining our evening party. We met Wayne & Sally at a wedding fayre and they were both so welcoming and friendly we knew they were the photo booth we wanted for our big day. The whole process from start to finish was simple and easy. The online portal is fab and easy to use. Wayne was great on the day. Everyone loved the booth and the props. The photos are the talk of the event at the moment! Highly recommend for any event!!

Selfie Star provided a great service for our wedding. They were helpful and knowledgable in the lead up to our wedding and contacted us throughout. They had the dance floor full throughout the whole evening and knew how to keep the party going! We would definitely recommend them to other people for weddings and events!

I run an entertainment business myself and from time to time we need to depend on other services and djs to help us through busy or sick periods. I cannot recommend Selfie Star Photo Booths highly enough. Wayne was quick to respond to all queries and accommodated any special requests. An excellent variety of high quality props. The camera looked very classy and the screen at the back that showed the slideshow of the photos was a real bonus and encouraged people to use the booth. The option to have the three poses followed by the six 'directed' poses was an excellent added extra which made for some really great shots. The master set of photos, presented to us in a nice white storage box at the end of the night, is also a great touch if you don't go for the album. Thank you Wayne - you really made our night extra special.
